BrabantStad is a partnership, which includes the cities of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Eindhoven, Tilburg, Breda, Helmond, Oss, Roosendaal and the province of Noord-Brabant. As the second economic region in the Netherlands, we form a Metropolitan Region and a daily urban system that excels in knowledge and sustainable innovation power. Traditionally, the region has been at the forefront of technological development. A development that entails the Phillips’ light bulb right through to the ASML microchips, which today finds its home in our region. Located between Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp and the German Ruhr area, BrabantStad can also proudly say that it combines an outstanding economy with an exquisite landscape. The Metropolitan Region has become internationally known for it is the birthplace of Vincent van Gogh, who immortalized Brabant in his paintings.
